BACSA Executives - Committed to Championing Initiatives Against Crime
BACSA employs a number of highly skilled and competent project managers who assist the organisation to deliver on its core Vision and Mission and the work of the work groups (i.e., the reduction of Violent and Organised Crime and the improvement of the Criminal Justice System, as well as the non-ferrous metal theft project and the Criminal Justice Strengthening Programme). BACSA Executives bring to the Public/Private Partnership between business and Government in the fight against crime many years of experience in anti-crime initiatives.
Committed to developing workable solutions and best practice to address the ever-evolving nature of crime in the country, project business plans are developed with Government partners fully on board at the outset. This is in alignment with the organisation’s operating principles which emphasise that anti-crime projects undertaken by the organisation are to demonstrate visible and high Government prioritisation and ownership which is sustained through strong leadership and the allocation of appropriate budgets, resources and the identification of a co-ordinating champion, as is the case with the work of the Review of the Criminal Justice System.

The Functioning of the EXCO - The Operational Management Structure of BACSA
The Executives of the organisation participate monthly in Executive Committee (EXCO) meetings to assist the organisation with the day-to-day running of operations, the identification and mitigation of risks and regular reporting on the progress of the Step Change initiatives aligned to the organisation’s business plan. A restructuring process undertaken in 2008 has resulted in a leaner, more focused organisation which seeks to provide value for money and meet donor expectations in achieving a reduction in violent crimes particularly and improving the Criminal Justice System such that it acts as an effect deterrent to crime.
